A Playhouse for Moses

For Nativity Grandpa Max gave Moses this sweet little playhouse. He sometimes calls it his room or his boat. Man! I love this little guy. He is sweet and spicy.  It's hard trying to keep up with all the bigs.

Creativity for the Win

Creativity is helping me get through these long winter days. Kids inside more often, Mama not feeling well, and lack of sunshine is wearing on me.  I'm so thankful for crochet and other handcrafts, they have always helped me.

SNOW

We got a little snow this past weekend.  The kids had a blast, some of us had colds so we didn't get to enjoy like Boaz, Felicity, and Moses. I think Eleanor and Athansius were feeling better and made it out there too.  I guess it was mainly Daddy and I that felt poorly! :)

What I've Been Reading...

I have been reading some really great novels lately.  Honestly, all of what I read is really enjoyable to me, or I don't read it.  Both of these authors are new to me.  I am always so thankful when I find an author I click with.  Reading is therapeutic for me and brings me peace.  Spending time with my family, spending time outside, and reading a good book are some of my favorite things.

Making Memories

I made hot chocolate, put it in togo coffee mugs, and loaded the crew up in the beast bus. Clay drove us around Ash Grove to look at Christmas lights.  It was so much fun I think this will become a yearly tradition! I love our kids and their sense of humor,  They are some of the kindest and sincere people I know.

FAMILY

I rustled the crew together and actually got a picture! There were three taken and Athansius, on purpose, had his eyes crossed in two of them! Boys...

Felicity was feeling poorly so we stepped out of the service to eat a snack and that revived her some. :)

We took the kids to the bakery before the Nativity fast, the treats they picked out looked so delicious!

St. Herman of Alaska and Eleanor tries to tame the Little Jungle Boy

Eleanor was taking Moses around to see the icons, so sweet! Moses is doing well in church but he can be a little wild man sometimes and Eleanor likes to take him at times.  I'm so thankful for her help! I remember a new mother having Eleanor in church with us and now she is helping with her little brother.  Time is so strange.

Saturday we celebrated St. Herman of Alaska! It was a lovely service and the church looked so beautiful with the light shining through the windows.  St. Herman pray to God for us!
