Summer

These are some pictures from this past summer. I love all the green and warmness of this day. The kids were really into homemade capes then, and now they have real capes that my Mom made!

This was our Zinnia bed! It was so fun to pick flowers from it.

I am so thankful for the bleakness of winter because it makes Spring and Summer so much better. Looking at our house, we had our sweet peppers planted on the left side and the tomatoes on the right. We are hoping to do more this coming season. It is fun having a little garden in the city. :)

  1. I've been dreaming about Spring and gardening as I flip through the gardening catalogs that have been coming in the mail. We really do appreciate the "green" with the lack of it during winter. It is right around the corner!

Thanks for sharing. I love the last picture...so sweet, mommy, loving, gardening, and green. There's something very homey and charming about it. I love how you've taken the space you have and utilized it well.

Miss you~ Look forward to seeing you guys more this year ;)!

  2. Thanks for your sweet comment Melissa! There are times that I feel like our yard is on the small side but then I think of Ravil and Ulia over in Russia in that little apartment with NO yard to play with and it puts things in perspective. :) I miss you too hopefully we will see you soon!
